I can't say for sure, but I think initially it is there to allow you to collect your PM's for a bit but will ultimately be removed so there is no confusion or posting on the old forums. Denzil will step in and let you know for sure

It will be temporarily up so that folks can gather whatever information that they need. Having it up costs the club an additional expense that we can't really afford. We'll give folks until the end of the month to get what they need.
