Yeah he's not a true black more a hybrid. From what I can tell it's black to me. :) Even the Achilles is a hybrid.

Just order a reactor typo do a diy macro algae reactor. Let's see how this goes when everything comes in. Was able to get a 6" dia PVC from home depot to isolate these lights into the reactor.

The aquamaxx reactor like that video from Marine depot?

I was wondering about the maintenance requirement of such reactor since the wall will get dirty and need frequent cleaning for optimal light throughput? And the circular shape mean you can't take a scraper to it.
