Ideas for DIY stand for 25gal Lagoon

I made an MDF stand and regret it, for the work you end up putting in you might as well spring for good materials (nice hardwood, or whatever). Wood screws, dowel rods and wood glue hold it together and the stand is super strong. I would probably do 80/20 next time, thanks Ibn for the info.

MDO is vastly different than mdf. The outside looks like mdf but it uses a water proof resin. The inside is plywood. We used it because it made for a much better finished surface than plywood would have. Also it's more expensive than your typical plywood, even more than your typical oak or birch.

Do you know where I can find MDO plywood? I read that home improvement stores typically doesn't carry MDO plywood. It has to source from whole seller for contractors? Is this true?
