Thanks again guys.. I saw the wave that took out those people... There were two guys who looked like they were going to ride it. THey were paddling like crazy then at the last second they both turned around hahaha.. IT was a beast of a wave.. The largest I had seen all morning... It got...
Wassup Eric.. I really need a 400 2.8 with the tc I'd have 560 f4 which would have been just about perfect.. There was almost too much light hahaha
A couple of the shots were 420 f5.6 1/8000 hahahahah.. It depended on where in the wave they were.. It would fluctuate all the way down to...
I had to recheck my eyes a couple of times.. A couple of the dudes were red like lobsters hahahah.. What up Chris!??!?! Just working like crazy with an occasional photo outing thrown in there...
Today is one of the first days I felt at a disadvantage with a full frame camera :( I really miss the extra 50 percent reach that a Crop Sensor camera gave me.. My 300 is no longer long enough :(
Got an invite from a friend whose boat I previously worked on.. I've never shot surfing...
Hahahah thats how I'm learning.. I would just shoot pics and ask questions. There are alot of good photogs here on the forums.. Eric and Art are awesome and it helps that they shoot Nikon as well :)

I would try lowering the iso and stop down 1-2 stops.. You have EV set at -3, 32mm@f/4.4 with iso 800 and a ss of 1/400.. Most lenses will do better stopped down a tad.. Maybe try f/8 or so.. I'm not sure how the d90 does at iso 800 either.. Do you have an original sized jpeg?
Just picked up a new point and shoot... Sold my D300 to Boun and got a point and shoot to replace it :) How you like them apples :) Some things a Dslr can do better but if you don't have it with you it doesn't matter :) Shot some pics on the way home from work with the new baby..
Canon...
Ok one fish gone.. Kinda had mixed feelings about eating him.. :( Times are tough though... Gonna hold onto the second one in hopes of finding him another home for a couple of weeks.. Other wise he will probably meet the same fate.... When is the next BOD meeting. I know Eric wanted to...
