Questions on wide angles lenses

I would try lowering the iso and stop down 1-2 stops.. You have EV set at -3, 32mm@f/4.4 with iso 800 and a ss of 1/400.. Most lenses will do better stopped down a tad.. Maybe try f/8 or so.. I'm not sure how the d90 does at iso 800 either.. Do you have an original sized jpeg?

wide angle lenses will allow you to get closer to your tank. The perspective changes a lot, you get closer to the subjects. The tradeoff is a bit of distortion around the edges, but nobody will care =)

FTS with one shot works best with a wide angle. I use a 20mm F/2.8 lens on my d700. Works great =)

Doing a pano would be cool too, best way is to get yourself a nodal pano head, like a Nodal Ninja (I have one, it's cheap, works well). Then use things like Hugin to put them together.

I never really perfected it, but it's fun to try.

I still have the original DNG in lightroom. I will have to check the settings, but I really thought I had the ISO at 400.

Thanks, but now I need to know what that all means :D I just shoot and try to figure out things along the way. I really have no idea what I am doing.

Hahahah thats how I'm learning.. I would just shoot pics and ask questions. There are alot of good photogs here on the forums.. Eric and Art are awesome and it helps that they shoot Nikon as well :)
