Montipora undata

first photo undata, second of the cyphastrea with chip glued on top and the skin creeping onto it. Hope it is ready to pop off for the August swap.

Thats a great picture of the undata, love the colors of the algae, especially the halimeda. All of your pics are great, really nice tank. Did you use a viewing box to take some of those pics?

For the cyphastrea, did you clear a spot on top to glue the chip or just right on top of the flesh of the coral? This is so the chip becomes encrusted and you can snap it off for the swap? Thats really neat.

The frag was glued where I had cut off a section so there was no live tissue directly under it. Cut is odd to say because I actually popped off the original frag off a very old plug. Then I thought I should glue another for it to grow over and start a frag producing cycle.

Just pumps off for the top down shot. Yeah my tank is real green. ;) I pull the halimeda once a month.

Thanks for the frag richard! Growing out now.

I'll take pictures in a few weeks to show progress. They're a bit brown, but lots of potential. The polyps are waaaay out.

Sergio, I am working Saturday. A very unfortunate situation, and yet fortunate. Maybe someone can bring it to you? If you would like it I will inquire.

Anyone still looking for this? Inch diameter frag available pick up in Berkeley. It is not holding the best green under LED. I have moved it around a good bit in all the recent transition so other factors could be causing the fade.
