THE GREED OF ONE MEMBER!!
This is one of the reasons I don't participate in BAR anymore. Someone posts something to pay it forward to the club and the same GREEDY member can't help but take all of it. Again and again and again. How is this a benefit? - except to his wallet when he turns around...
It is saving me about $115 a month. The downside is that since the lights go off at 4pm, I hardly get to see the corals/fish. It is really sucking a lot of the enjoyment out of reef keeping
My usage went beyond the 3rd tier so I pulled out of the tiered system and went for "time of use" plan. I run all tank lighting til 4pm and then lights out.
Thanks for sharing! I gotta say though, the pics. dont really show how beautiful your reef is in person. I am mesmerized whenever I see it in person.
Cheers! Mark
I don't have an exact dollar amount. But I think the difference between a member and non-member price should be enough that it may entice non-members to join. At the same time members would be getting a benefit from "their" club.
I got my CITR from Tim out of Folsom. It was very large and healthy. When I put into my reef, I made sure I didnt expose it to air and I laid it on its side. It didnt take long to start encrusting onto the rock and heal.
Cheers! Mark
Not a year yet, but I have had my CITR Red Dragon almost 5 months and it is still looking good. I even have a tiny frag of it that I though for sure was going to die but is still alive.
