I was able to grab one this early morning and put it into a container. I didn't see any last night. I'm not sure if they are already starving off or not. I'll try and see if I can get some more today.

It is flexible but not what I would call soft. The rack those montis are on gets direct blast from my pumps and it does not seem to move. It can bend when touched. Scared to cut this off in case it is somehow part of the coral. Edit: yeah the pictures are not great, will try for better ones...
