    Salt water feels so gooood!!!

The board was "signed' by John Mel, but then again I don't know if that has any significance. Is there such a board that can act as a quiver killer for a beginnerish rider? I can stand, and I can turn and go down the wave on the fish, but it's so bulky that I can't really do any more than...

    Salt water feels so gooood!!!

I'm a noob at surfing. I started about 8 months ago. I have my own wetsuit a 4/3 ripcurl, and I use booties. Don't have my own board yet. Been using my friend's 6'4 Freeline Fish. I don't really know much about surfboards, so I'm unsure when I'll get my own board. I don't even know what shape...

How long do you look at your tank?

Not much because it's at home in San Francisco, and I'm in school in Santa Cruz. But when I do go home, a good 4-5 hours easily. In the summer when I see it more often, probably a good hour or 2 everyday.

So who holds the title as Largest Northern CA fish store

Fattest? :D Aquarium Showroom was pretty big, biggest LFS that I've ever been to... haven't been to Exotic-Aquarium, yet. Most of the stores that I go to are a bit smaller.

What are your favorite reef fish?

I don't know what you consider expensive, but I'm a big fan of Gobies! I really like the Yasha Goby. I also like those flasher wrasses. I like the smaller fish, as long as they're hardy, reef-safe, and peaceful.

That first pic was a sucky pic. Here's a better more up to date one! Actual tank colors are a little bluer. But it's close enough for now ;D

14,528 text messages in a month

I get by with around 5 texts a month. It takes me at least 10 minutes to write each text though. So usually if people ask me a question through texting, I'll end up calling them back. Talking > texting.

    Mighty Magnets

The white super scrubbie pad that Mighty Magnets use is the best! I'm not sure if it's the same stuff, but I found that Scotch Brite Dobie Cleaning Pads use the same stuff. I cut out the sponge so that I use only the scrubbing part and it reminds of the same stuff that Mighty Magnets uses. Beats...

    Jombo's 40 Gallon Breeder

This is my 40 gallon breeder tank. I've had it set up for about a year now. I just started getting into SPS, mostly encrusting montiporas, but overall I think my tank is more of a softy/LPS tank. I guess I can track my tanks progress with a post like this. Anyways, here are some specs that...

    New Member Area/Introduce yourself thread

Hi, My name is Brandon. I was in NCNRS when they first started. I have the same name in that club as well. I got into the hobby about 8 years ago. I went from freshwater community tank, to freshwater planted, then eventually to reef tanks. I've been into saltwater for about 2 years. I still...
