Evenin y'all! Hope this finds everyone well... Still need to get my photos out from the weekend up in Marin (apologies).
So, I've got an Apex. It is cool from an engineer's perspective and the price was right.
But...I just got an ORP prob. In the last 7 days I've seen a high of 24 and a low of 5 (quite confident the probe is calibrated). The tank is 100% normal and as happy as it has been for the last 10 years, even under the new RapidLED setup; granted I do not have any fancy-shamncy livestock nor hard corals...and admittedly - I have not "tested" my water in so many months, that we could be bordering on years.
Bottom line is this - what does ORP actually measure? My Google searching has been inconclusive.
If you have resources to read through, happy to do my own homework - just need a bit of reliable direction....
