    Hi all,

I have done this a few times before....hopefully if we get snails it will turn out better.

Gauging interest on group buy for clean up critters. Price would be depending on the number we get but I can update later. They will be close to wholesale plus shipping and tax. First lets see who might be interested in
what.... ( these are my estimated price if we get enough order)
I can get these - and pickup would be at swap. I might need payment in paypal or at least a deposit unless I know you.

    Mexican Turbo Snails: $1 each
    Margarita Snails: $1 each
    Blue Leg Hermit: $1 each
    Emerald Crabs: $3 each
    Red Leg Hermits: $1 each
    Nerite Snails: $1 each
    Nassarius Snails: $1 each
    Cerith Snails: $1 each
    Florida Astrea Snails: $1 each
    Arrow Crabs: TDB each
    Peppermint Shrimp: $4 each
    Cleaner Shrimp $15each
    Fire Shrimp $15

Maybe Deresa 2 inch ($40) or Maxima clams too ($50 I think). Need to confirm.

We used this doc to track last time.....old prices are on the file still, but most are the same. I need to confirm them again.

Sea Hares are great for Gha but they are cheap enough st Lfs that I’d rather be able to see and pick a healthy one

Cool idea, thanks for putting it out there. As far as gauging interest, I’d be in for 30+ snails; 30+ hermits; and probably
6 shrimp... I dig the idea of a clam or two as well. When is the deadline to commit and give exact order? I’m happy to PP in advance.

For now just add your counts to the google spreadsheet. The list changes weekly so in Oct I can get a better idea on actuals. Never seen a sea hare on my lists-sorry.

I can ask, but those are usually special orders. I have seen stores sell them at $10 each now. How many were you interested in?

Doesn't look like anyone is updating the spreadsheet. Count me in for 30 snails, 20 hermits, and 4-6 shrimp

Please go ahead and fill out the spread for my tracking. I will confirm when it gets closer to the date. I will need to know what kind of snails and shrimps. Maybe I should add a sample row.

My current CUC consists of two blue-legged hermits and a couple something snails; I see people are ordering red-legged hermits; do blues and reds not get along?
I’d appreciate an input also on Cerith vs Nerith; I know Nassarious will eat anything dead. Trying to decide on algae eating machines such as Trochus; will get back to you on the number/s of CUC

My clean-up crew always consists of Trochus (cause they can turn over), Nassarius to stir up the sand, a couple Fighting Conch's cause they are awesome, and blue tuxedo urchin if necessary.

I won't keep snails and hermits together as the hermits just kill the snails.

Just a PSA since I was there today; AC has ceriths @ 10 for $10 and peppermints @ 8 for $32, but other CUCs species at higher prices than through the invert group buy.
