Ai prime

So basically the ai prime comes with a somewhat defective tank mount (it slightly sags). However, there is an inexpensive fix. I found the fix on nano reef. Com, [http://www.nano-reef.com/topic/351695-ai-prime-wifi-led/page-19]. Basically, you have to Strengthen the ball joint by creating pressure. I used electrical tape instead of a rubber band. Yup that was one of the problems they first encountered with the AI Prime. The tank mount was poorly designed but I think there are different light mounts available for that light. So that you're not dependent on electrical tape and rubberbands to hang a light over your aquarium

I have the Prime and am using the mount. The issue arises when people think they have to tighten the bolts down fully. When the bolts get cranked down, the plastic washer gets deformed and the friction needed to hold the mount up goes away.

Just need to make sure to snug them down evenly until the mount stays up. I have not had to readjust my mount since I set it up even through several instances of knocking the light up or down from bumping into it while cleaning the tank.
