wow, now it's time to see which of the big boys over abuse the very vague nature of the patent system and ban any product that uses a reagent to automatically check for a chemical change and use an electronic dodad to use that signal and send it to a 'computer'
 
Yeah, quite a few DIY attempts have been made. I started poking around also at one point.
Seems to be the in thing right now.

The rush is on.
Unless pretty cheap, seems like not too many people would get one. So the first company to full production could saturate the market.
