Looking for a frag from that picture that popped up before BAYMAC. Anybody grab some and can spare a few polyps or point me to the right direction? Was from down south right?
thx

I THINK Robert posted a pic of one a few months back. Might want to shoot him a message.

And if you can't get it locally:

Nope Robert didn't or I would have gotten it from him. I reposted Ian's (RO) of which I got some. I collected rare turbinarias so I would have been all over Robert's :) Slow grower, won;t be fraggable for a long long time. I also want the growth form it grows into with age, so i may never frag it :)

+1 on the slow growth and no fragging policy, it's one of those gems you find and hang onto for a while, or better put, you see it and you grab it because you prolly ain't gonna see it again.....

Hunter has a very very nice one at Lucky Goldfish in Oakland. It's not the rainbow but it's the same species and the color is very nice. When the rainbow came in, that was only the 4th time of me ever seeing that particular Turbinaria specie being imported.

I'm somewhat of a closet connoisseur as well. Or would like to be.
You blasting it to get it all gnarled or what?
Thx tony I saw that frag with a little searching.

This one does not grow like a typical turbinaria, it's not a "scrolling" one. It makes vertical fronds.. most likely Turbinaria bifrons
