Anyone dosing amino acids? Interesting article

Just saw this blog post on advanced aquarist:

Wondering if anyone has any anecdotal evidence and what brand they're dosing. Interested in trying a round of dosing anything that has aspartic acid in it...

This is my favorite line from the article:

The article does contain the answer:

...Despite our scientific knowledge on amino acids and corals, there are no studies that show how dosing concentrated amino acids affects corals.

Actually, it is an excellent article with a lot of great information and well worth reading, but until there are some good controlled studies, the answer on whether dosing helps will be a largely based on opinion and anecdotal evidence. Personally, I stopped dosing and did not notice a difference in growth rates or at least everything seems fine without dosing, but I have mainly very hearty corals.
