Anyone know how to remove impeller out of SWC 120 skimmer pump?

I've tried pulling it straight out, twisting it 180 degrees left and right and using a wide flathead driver prying it off between the impeller and the magnets plastic shaft. It won't budge. I'm sure it can't be fused together as I can twist it on the magnets shaft up to 180 degrees in both directions but not up off the magnet. I want to replace it with a needlewheel I have.

Any suggestions?

They both have very different dimensions, is that made to fit the skimmer u have?

There usually a rib that the impeller pops on to, if u look inside the new head, you should be able to see the groove if u look inside. Then you will know what's holding it on.

All else fails use a cut off blade and a dremmel to remove the old one. But be careful nit to cut in to the plastic connected to the magnetic part, and damage could cause it to wear out improperly.
