Best Local Fish Store for live rock/softies in Mt. View/Los Altos area

is SeaScapes still any good? Where else do you go?

I'm looking to get 15 lbs of premium LR.

IMHO SeaScapes SW livestock selection is awful and their dry goods selection isn't much better. My dad got me a gift certificate for there as a Christmas present because he saw that it was relatively close to where I live. I'm having a really hard time spending it.

I go over to Neptune Aquatics in Milpitas. I'm in Sunnyvale rather than Mt. View so it's closer for me than I'm guessing it is for you. I'll also occasionally drive down to Dolphin Pet Village in Campbell just to look at what they have but I don't think I've ever actually bought anything there.

Thanks. It's sad there is nothing decent closer. I had a hunch SeaScapes had gone downhill since changing owners several years ago.

if you can drive 15 min. you can get to Neptunes where you can't go wrong.

Ultimate aquarium is a decent store too, but I'm not sure about their live rock. I didn't think to look when I was there last.

Ultimate has live rock most of the time, some on display and some in the back if you ask.
