No worries! This way you can take your time with your new tank build. Btw installing tapatalk takes 2 seconds .

Should I bring the suction cups to the swap or drop them off to @rygh ? If I bring to the swap, who do I hand it off to? Someone pls advise. Thanks.

I have the suction cups right now.
They will be put in storage if nobody needs to use them.

Yeah -- possible. They are suppose to be able handle up to 800lbs and reduce (perceived) load by up to 66%. You're basically spreading and distributing out the load versus having to concentrate it mostly on the arms...

I own both and have used both. I think there’s a point when the straps lose their effectiveness. One reason is that the straps can only be used by two people. So even if the perceived weight is less, that 300 lb. tank would still be 150 lbs. per person. Also, there’s been more than once that I need to flip the tank as it get to a doorway or stairs or something. The straps don’t allow for this.

I’ve used the straps for refrigerators and other large and heavy furniture and it is surprising how much lighter it feels. They are a good tool to have. In the end it’s about picking the right tool for the job.

@rygh , thanks for the cups. I’ll be done with them on Sunday in San Jose.

Btw, nice lab you have in the garage.

I can meet 680/580 Friday night or Saturday morning. I’m not certain yet.

If you can wait until Sunday, I have a friend heading over the 80 towards SF through Berkeley.

    Weekdays are tough.
