I got this off a local refer that was tearing down a tank and said this was a bubble coral, but after seeing @Enderturtle talk about bounce mushrooms I am not sure what this is as it has a foot and mouth of a mushroom so help me correctly id this coral for me ....Thanks

    Ricordea Yuma

Robert at neptune aquatics has those in his nano display. Love the inflated bubble look.

I personally think its due to low flow. But I'm not entirely sure why some tentacles get bubbly big.

Let me know if you want to trade for it! lol

Thanks for the ID of the coral....They are very interesting....the glass scraper fell once on the larger bubbles tentacle and it popped it but it looks like it is healing and it still stay as one of the large tentacle....

I have a few doing the same "Big Bubble thing"

The bounce mushroom is believed to be a Rhodactis mushroom.

    Yumas are Ricordea.

    Both are corallimorphs.

Yep rhodactis, not my picture so I don't want PMs asking for frags lol.

There's also Godspawn shrooms somewhat similar to bounce but different.
