Walmart in Mountain View HAD pickling lime, until I bought the bags that I saw!

$2.88 for one pound of Mrs Wages.

Check over walmarts and/or wait for mv store to restock!

The walmart in American Canyon is out of Pickling Lime. Someone bought it all. ;)

After doing the math though, it's about the same price as the BRS stuff.
 
Well being as Mountain View is the closest one to me... thanks a lot Vince :p

But yeah going into cheapskate mode looked at DF&S and they have one particular kind that's a bit expensive and cheap shipping, then BRS which has cheaper kalk but then shipping is high... still haven't ordered though, might just order a 5 gallon bucket of the stuff and be done with it for a LONG time.

Well I figure that if we keep emptying the shelves of it, they'll stock more of it!

I saw on walmart.com that you can buy 6 one pound bags for 25 buck. If you buy $50 worth, then it's free shipping. So 12 lbs for $50 is $4/lb not bad. Plus a buck or two for tax.

FWIW, Walmart and other stores also sell "Hydrated Lime" in their mexican food sections. It can be found in the little seasoning packet section, and usually costs less than a dollar.

Good in a pinch if you run out.
