Check my math please!

    Im bulding an acrylic sump. The panels will sit on top of the base.

    ill be working with 3/8 inch acrylic
    The base is 30 inches by 14 inches
    the long faces are 30 inches long and 12.5 tall
    the side faces that sit inside the front and back face are:
    12.5 tall and 13.25 inches wide

    Buy a 20 long? Probably cheaper...

    That looks right. I think the pros would have the base slightly larger and trim after fusion. Router (Woodworking not network :) ) is the tool of choice.

    I currently am using a 20 long actually, however it's turning into a cluster with reactors everywhere and its almost impossible to run a sock (i like doing that before having people over). With this custom design i can have the biopellet reactor share a chamber with the skimmer, and have a spot to mount a sock.
