I purchased a 1/2 hp chiller and it does not seem to be lowering the tempature of the water at all but stays on all day. The chiller is a little over kill for the size of my tank total water volume is only about 140 gallons and I have 1 400 watt mh. It has been running for several hours now with the temp at the same tempature It started at. I hate to say this but my 1/10th hp chiller out performs this one at this point. I am running a pump with the correct or recomened gph so I am a little confused. Any thoughts.
