Co2 tank refilling near Albany/Berkeley?

refill, doubtful. Exchange for a full one is the normal protocol.
 
problem is I have a tiny 2lb tank, like one used for paintball. My cabinet is too small to hold bigger. I doubt they'll do an exchange for that?
 
Doubt they'd fill that or replace it (non standard). You need to go to a paintball place, not a place like Praxair that does large refills.
 
GOOD NEWS! Just called up Atlas Welding Supply in Berkeley (right off gilman near jimmy beans) and they can refill the 2.5lb for $13!

How convenient!
 
Now I just have to figure out how to set this Ca reactor up =P I've had it for like 4 years now, brand new, custom made, and never setup. Doh!
 
yeah went to Atlas today! They were really friendly. 5lb vs 2.5lbs are the same price, $13. I'm considering routing a 5lb in my basement rather than stuffing a 2.5lb under the stand... but that means more holes in the nice redwood floors =/

Anyway, only took a few minutes and I was able to swing by Jimmy Beans for a pastry and coffee on my way home. Sweet =)
