you're doing a really fine job. It looks very clear. Second is a bit less clear, but I think it might be due to shake.

You're getting a little grain, which is ok. If you can resize it a bit smaller, it might help get rid of grain. There are programs like "Noise Ninja" that helps get rid of that too.

But otherwise fantastic work =)

What is your camera setup you're using and what is your post processing?

I don't do much Pshopping other than occasional auto levels, sometimes sharpen/unsharpen (the mag likes my pics unsharpened a bit) bright/contrast. I try to do as little as possible just to get it to look like it does to me in real life.
I'm using Rich's Canon S2
