I just shipped some, but can get you hooked up on Thrusday.
I'll send you PM tonight to confirm.

  2. Looks like Im getting one, I would like to pick up if possible, may wind my way down there this weekend.

Thanks for all the work roberto, really great to have you do this for us less electronically advanced :)

    Here is a question:
Do you have a Mac or linux?
If Reef Angel could offer wifi capability and it would only work on a PC with Windows OS, how would you feel?
Should I even be concerned of not offering it to Mac or linux users?

Mac, yes, linux, no. I think limiting yourself to PC isn't the right direction. I know dozens upon dozens of reefers on MAC :)

Wifi is nice. Would you have to get FCC approval for it though? That took Ecotech a long time to do with their latest driver. No cheap either.

Even if I use someone else module?

    Here is what they say:
UART interface with RS232 and TTL signaling
High throughput, 1Mbps sustained data rate with TCP/IP and WPA2
    Ultra-low power (4uA sleep, 50mA Rx, 210mA Tx)
On-board ceramic chip antenna and U.FL connector for external antenna
    Wi-Fi Alliance certified for WPA2-PSK
FCC / CE/ ICS certified and RoHS compliant.

If the module has FCC certification, no, you'd be fine IIRC :)

Ecotech didn't use an off the shelf solution thus their lengthy certification.

I would make it PC and Mac compatible. There are a lot of Mac users out there. Including myself.

Maybe my wifi view is different than what others see it.
I see the wifi as a way to load codes to the controller wirelessly, but that is a 1% of users that would be doing this, if not less. And on top of that, how often would you want to load codes to the controller?? Not very often.
So, if I would not pursue the ability to load codes through wifi, would that be acceptable?
So, let me ask another one:
What would you like to do if Reef Angel had wifi capability?

I was hoping for real time access to the logs via my computer (internet capable)

I want a feature that will allow me to turn off the indicator lights :)

That's called electrical tape over it
Why would you not want to see them anyway?

Well I could go that route but it would be nice to have a option to kill them. Right now I am just testing it out and it's not in a cabinet. It sits in my bedroom and those two little LEDs sure do light up the room :)

Just letting you know things I would like. >tossing things at the wall hoping one will stick<

Never thought they would light up that much...
Hum... I guess not much to be done with green, except cutting the leads.
    Green is hard wired.... :(
Red can be turned off through software.
I programmed the LCD to go into sleep mode after a while, which I thought it would be something that would really light up a room.
Maybe in the next board revision.

This controller is awsome! I have already edited the software twice,Thanks to Roberto's help.
Realtime WIFI, log dumps and control would frost my cake!!!

I still have mine in the box guys.
Hopefully I will have it up and running soon.
The packing was done very well I might add. :)

Mine is up running with the latest software from Eli - temperature sensors seem calibrated right out of the box, but haven't tried the pH sensor yet.

When I have the time, I'll start playing around with the code to swap some of the outlets over to running a heater and customizing the outlets to my needs.
  20. I really like the wifi add-on, really seems to work well so far.

    * suggestable features for wifi add-on*
#1 . GUI interface with ability to monitor sensors and control relays
(I.E, manually turning lights, skimmers, reactors, fans, powerheads, pumps on/off via internet connection)

    #2. SMS/Email alerts (I.E, Power outtage, high/low ph, high/low temp, reminders for cleaning/dosing/water changes)

Just ideas floating in my head, but would really be cool if it's possible.
