Cool DIY japanese LED spotlight

I just came across this awesome Japanese reef website, browsing the DIY section I came across this neat DIY fixture. It's basically a regular LED bulb you can buy for $5 on ebay with some of the LED chips replaced (which you could also get on ebay for cheap). They added some reflectors and lenses and foila! a pretty cool LED spotlight. Properly not very useful for lighting reef tanks but could be used as actinic supplements, highlighting certain corals or maybe moonlights for big tanks. Or maybe for lighting a 80 azoox tank? :D
Well anyways here's the link:

I might try building some, but that will depend on how bright my LeDio really is.

I have not seen any LED based bulbs for that low price but interesting, time to start searching !!
At that price I don't mind trying to gut out one compared to the PAR bulbs at ~$60+ each, Yikes !!!
