Yup, just the natural light that came in through the patio doors on this foggy morning. Halides don't come on till noon.

Yup looks like just sperm being ejected, no eggs. The egg bundles I have seen are noticeable to the eye.

Do dendrophyllia release egg bundles the same way that tubastrea do?

Nearly positive they do. I tossed out the very question to some one that can answer for sure. I know I have seen video of them releasing in aquaria but from the shot I could not tell if they photographer properly ID'd them.

In lazy-reefer fashion: some weeks they get fed 0x and others 5x, with the aim being every-other-day feedings. Got em as starving, not-much-flesh-left and now they eat pretty decent sized krills.

I skipped right to keywords and didn't read your post at first I was wondering what 0x was, then I read the post :lol: I was thinking it was an abbreviation for some food. Yes, I am at work scanning posts and working at the same time :lol:
