Coralvue stand alone KH monitoring n dosing

It all comes down to percentage total of your system.
If you have $20K in corals, it is probably worth it.
For a Nano with a clown fish, not so much.

But as a side note, I don't think it was a good idea to combine it directly with Alk dosing.
First, it seems like a small doser for a product most likely to sell on large reef tanks.
But second, I have always been a believer that measurement and control should have me in the middle.

Perhaps it is just me not trusting the equipment.
But my ideal is two completely separate systems:
1) One meeasures everything. Temp/Alk/Water level/Salinity/etc
Log and email. Text me if there is a problem.
And most measurements really should be in the display tank.
2) One controls everything.
And I have to change the levels/dosages/etc by hand.

Perhaps you have some inside scoop on the Mindstream product as well??
That seems like the ultimate lazy-aquarist tool. If it ever becomes something more than vaporware.
