found it hanging with the bristle worms at the bottom of my overflow
Anyone have any idea what this cool hitchhiker is?
Polyclad flatworm? If yes, it will eat snails and clams.
I found one on the bottom of a rock. It does eat snails. Can move very fast on the rock and 'pour' into tiny holes. Once in the water column it ruffles, so I thought I had an octopus from the angle through the tank I saw it and how close my hand was too it.
Interesting creatures.. I saw one diving into a pinpoint sized hole in the shell of a turbo snail and got it out that way. No more piles of snail shells since
If you hate snails
I just like weird stuff
That's a cool flatworm! How big is it?
about 1 1/4- 1 1/2 inches still hanging out in the overflow. does not like light.
Looks like a clam mantle. I wonder if it's supposed to mimic what it eats like a nudibranch.
So, going to keep it and get snails etc to feed it?! :-D
If any clammy looking peeps come round these parts I may just feed em to the thing.
LOL a little long and overdone but I get the point.
Anybody want him?
Captured and left for dead.
You killed the T1000 flatworm!
I left it outside last night in a deli container.
It got to cold for it.
