Crinoids

First let me say I am not planning on getting a crinoid, and I created this topic to pool any knowledge on this beautiful animal. If you know anything please post it up so that if someone who gets one as a hitch hiker or buys one under misguiding information, and so that people can stay current on what breakthroughs have been made.

www.Azoox.org has people with both basket and feather stars. probably a better place for such talk then a reef forum.

I have never heard of anyone getting one as a hitchhiker. They don't fair well in shipping with perfect conditions, let alone jammed in a bag with something else.
