Daytime Snails?

Hey y'all,

My snails, which usually 'hibernate' during the daytime, have all of a sudden come out during the day.

Has this happened to anyone? Is it normal? Haven't done anything crazy except a water change, but none of my previous regular water changes caused this to happen.

Certainly not a bad thing, maybe the water's cleaner now and they're just hungrier?

Any thoughts appreciated.

Do you know which kind of snails they are? Nassarius snails commonly come out at night but I see them during the day too; especially if there’s food near by.

Nassarius and Margarita Snails - both are active!
