Oh no! Argh, here comes the hand again! Run run! Ugh, if only I had more of my legs... *huff puff* No, no no no no no! Not again, not again! *struggle* not another leg, no please! Please! I I AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!

V

PS. Put me in line for the next leg.

vince, you can have one of my other starfish legs. i have a green fromia that is almost fully healed up. i have a feeling it will develop the mouth/legs soon. for some reason this particular species regenerates it's limbs much more faster than the others..

Cool, I look forward to seeing the horror on my wife's face when it's ready to frag and I say "Honey, check this out ... "

:p

lol, mother nature has a way of getting things done. i notice them roam all over the tank phong. its just weird.

v, lol, you got the next one that sprouts some legs n mouth :D

You should see the look on my wifes face as I lop off a leg with a razorbalde and feed it to my Harlequin. Ain't nature great. Now if I could only chop off my knees and have new ones grow back.

hahah that looks so cool, looks like you glued an asterina starfish to the leg :D

I think I'd nick name that starfish "Porn Star" for various reasons :D

Mike, it needs the Jeff Kent or Adam Morrison moustache to officially qualify.

Rotten-sponge-eating-starfish? And, it doesn't eat coral? Does it eat snails? Anthing else?

This is too good to be true... I am having sponge issues. Do the Stars eat live sponges too? I know sponges are good, but I'd rather have coral on the rocks instead.

Someone, please put me in line for the sponge eating one, or let me know where to get these... Scientific or common name would be good too. Thanks! :D

lol, the "stache" would be sexy ;)

lyn, yep, i couldn't believe it but it's been a blessing this particular starfish. it doesn't bother any of my corals, inverts.. i have no fish so i can't say it won't eat em.

it eats all the dying stuff. i still have living sponges on some rocks. ill see if i can grab a name or something 4 ya

Thanks Blue. :)

BTW, I had my class in Hawaii disect pickled Linkias. They are anatomically very simple creatures. Fascinating regenerative powers, I must say. :) Like corals. :D
