So as luck would have it, was chatting with someone on the 50G cube I was about to build (all the wood cut and ready to assemble for the stand)...and then got offered a used ELOS 70 (classic) at a too-tempting-not-to-hoard price.
Stand could use a fresh coat of paint since I have a preference for black versus white stands...
But in any case, this is the first time I have taken a close up look at an ELOS and realized that the classic overflow is a weird dry overflow with a box versus their new quiet drain on newer tanks.
Any ELOS classic owners out there with thoughts on the drain system? And potential noise / plumbing issues?
