My gut tells me fake but it's cool either way. This does remind me of a time when my Dad had a humming bird that was chasing the other humming birds from his feeder so he tried to shoo it away from about 10 yards or so ........


keep in mind my Dad has one bad shoulder and one that was already replaced and has limited movement....


with a sling shot......


let's just say that humming bird wasn't a problem anymore :-
 
One part of it makes me lean one way or another is the fact when things hit, the "globs" and "drops" that formed were truly of reasonable size (i.e. the 1 mm pie didn't make tiny little crumbs. That being said they must have glued the insects to a stick or something to hold them in the right location, then digitally removed it or something.
