I find those small sharp curved finger/toenail scissors to be excellent, especially for
cutting mushrooms off of rocks! the curve and small pointed blades can really
get under a mushroom!
Also, they only cost like $3 at the drugstore!
Also, it's easier to cut underwater than out of water. Most corals deflate into a
slime patch when out of the water.
