Hey ender, since you've got a lot of experience raising zoas, what's your opinion on whether amphipods can eat or damage zoas? I'm seeing mixed opinions on the forums. I've got some amphipods in my biocube.

Amphipods are too busy easy your other pods and detritus. They don't really bug zoas unless you have a LOT ALOT of them with no food. Zoas are more sensitive to light, alkalinity swings, zoa eating nudibranchs, sundial snails, and Angel fish. If your zoas are dying for unknown reasons it's most likely due to either too much light or unstable alkalinity. You could get a wrasse to keep your amphipods at bay. Wild zoas sometimes don't do well until they acclimate to aquarium life.
