    With all the drought stuff, I thought people might like Yucca plant cuttings? Very drought tolerant and very easy to care for. Pick up in Hayward. :)

    Went to a Peruvian restaurant once, ordered the Yuca Fries, it was literally 4 fat french fries (that weren't very long), for $5... up $1.25 per fry. Wasn't all that good to be worth that price IMO.

    Yuca flower is edible and yummy, has been well over 30 years since I tried it.

    Yeah in SF, my cousins, myself, wife, and their niece/nephew went on a little kick a few years back where we went to cuisines of different cultures, didn't get much into European ones though.

    Man.. we use Yucca Flower in a lot of ways.. the best way is with BBQ..

    Intructions (lol):
    1 - Red Meat BBQ - your choice (no chicken please :mad: )
    2 - You cook the roots in a pressure cooker for about 15 min or until it gets soft (some salt after that and you are good);
    3 - Do some "farofa" - a mix of Yucca Flower and little tiny pieces of meat - more info here https://cooking.nytimes.com/recipes/1017434-farofa
    4 - Some salad (your choice);
    5 - Eat until you can't walk anymore!

    THAT'S HOW ITS DONE!!

    The fried Yucca, its just step 2 but deep fried. But around here is just too expensive (for some reason).

    :):):)
