Halide switch broken???

for about 2 years. Last night I went to turn it off and the switch which has been acting up lately seemed very rubbery and was hard to turn over. When I did get it off now the switch seems not attached anymore. Meaning its very loose (moves back and forth freely) and no longer works at all. Just wanted ideas on whats going on and where I might be able to get it fixed or finds parts. Thanks all

How about just bypass the switch and turn it on/off with an external timer or controller?

I have the same fixture. I just order one of the switches. PM sent.

Wiring in a new switch (or just bypassing the switch entirely if you've got a timer/controller) is usually pretty straightforward

thanks for the help and the pm Bennet I will order a switch today I still have my 4 T5's and have mostly softies so I should be ok for a few days.
