Hammer coral growth on base....what is it ?

So I noticed some strange growth on the sides of my hammer coral , anybody know what it is

It appears two have another one growing to the lft of it as well

Looks like it's Hammer Time!

I was told this is a wall Hammer so I assume the growth pattern would be different. If its a branching Hammer would it not grow wide and then spilt heads like a torch or duncan ? The new growth does reflect the same color as the main Hammer under actinics

I had a hammer coral with several of these on it. In my case they developed very slowly but turned out to be majano when they finally developed. I ended up dremeling them off the base of the hammer.

Well If they keep the neon orange color ........ then I will be happy with the mejanos
