Hanna checker for ALK...

Just got a Hanna Colorimeter for alk and just want to get an idea how accurate is this compare to other kits like Elos, Salifert etc...it's the new liquid reagent not the test strips.

Did a test and it came out to 172x.056= 9.632, it's fine but would like to be on the range between 8-9.

Did another test today and it came out to 174...so it's pretty accurate from my experience

I have both the alk and phosphate meters from Hanna. Before they came out with the liquid reagents the powder reagents were way off. Now it's close to what my API test kit reads. I'm happy with both of my meters.

I'm tired of using my Salifert phosphate kit to see if it's blue or what.....lol...need to upgrade. Are the phosphate kit with liquid reagents too?

Unfortunately no. Powder reagents for the phosphate kit.
