Hello everyone. My name is Anh and I came across this forum researching a number of different topics for the hobby. I have been in and out of reef keeping for a little over 10 years. I live in the East Bay and really want to get more involved in the reefing community. I have never been to a frag swap or any reef event and think now is best time to do it before my wife starts popping out mini me's and her's.

Here is my my current tank which is an upgrade from my red sea max 250 of 2 1/2 years. Apologies for the quality of the pictures, maybe when i stop spending so much on this hobby i can get a decent camera instead of the iphone.

Why is that one flat rock so yellow/green?

The flat rock has a wee bit of green hair algae on it. It's fairly new tank since i didnt want to bring over the rocks and sand from my other tank due to possible dino which is not actually confirmed i have but dont want to risk it.
