This year's annual holiday potluck will be on Saturday December 15th

Come hear Rich Ross from the California Academy of Science speak about some of his endeavors.

Please bring a food or beverage to share with everyone. We usually expect about 20-25 people. RSVP and post what you are bringing, so we have variety. You can stop by and visit without bringing anything, but if you plan to eat, bring something to share too!

Bring your appetite and questions for Rich.

    Time: Noon-3PM

And I'm pretty sure you have to have a tank to qualify too...
    2. Wlachnit
      And only Californians qualify.

:( I guess I’ll have to be content with being a former mediocre reefer.

That was great fun thanks for having me. You elitists!
Phoning, I may left my computer charger plugged into your wall over in the corner. Can you let me know if you find it so I can figure a way to get it back? Thanks!

Did anybody hear Rich's method of feeding frozen food with a HOB skimmer?
Also, anybody have input on how long thawed food can stay "fresh" and not get the thaw water manky? I suspect not long, since lots of people even discard the thaw liquid.

I've thawed frozen mixed in RO/DI in a squeeze bottle and used it for 3-4 days. It was refrigerated of course. After that, it does start to give off a "nice" odor.

I didn't discard any of the frozen juices either.

Send him a pm. He did find it but didn't have contact info for you I think.
Thanks again rich, super bummed I missed it.

@Thales I might go to Fremont soon, don’t mind picking it up and reley it to you at the Cal Academy.

It was a good time, as always. It was great to see everyone again. Happy reefing.

I put in the mail for Rich already.
