Anyone want a huge 12” anemone? Got it from John in SF and it is too big for my 71” x26”x24” tank.

It turns out it stung the shit out of my blonde naso.... and it is probably going to die. Pretty sad day today. My 8” blonde naso was by far my favorite fish in my tank. Ate anything and everything. Also could be handfed and wouldnt swim away when you stick your hand in so it could be “pet”.

Anemone is green tentacled with orange stem.

Huge bummer about your fish’s injury. Good of you to mention it though so the taker of the anemone is forewarned.

Is it a bubble tip? if so I might be inclined to add it to my rose bta garden. but if it's a different species then pass

It is a long tentacle anemone. Seems very aggressive so whoever the new owner is needs a tank big enough where it wont affect other coral or get in the way of fish swimming/sleeping during the daytime and night time.

Ah, definitely pass then as it would be a crowded tank, same species would be ok by not another

No problem. Im quite pissed at the anemone so if nobody buys its going in the trash. Rather have my fish alive than this damn anemone.

Offer it to a store for free before killing it, that's not cool. You wouldn't kill a puppy for pooping on the carpet would you?

I handed it off to Ed so a culling was avoided.

Not to beat a dead horse, but it's known that the puppy would eat the bird. Being pissed at the puppy isn't exactly the right thing to be pissed at.

If it were a BTA, I'd be all over it! But glad you got that resolved...
