So the last couple days I have notice an increase of people on the West Side Cliffs of Santa Cruz in a cove watching a whale feed maybe 200yrd off the shore...so yesterday I was able to get a parking spot and took two videos of the whale.

First video is about 5min and I am tracking him corralling the food towards the shore and then feasting on them...you can see him eat around 4:30ish

Last time I went diving in Monterey (sadly, a few years ago), we had one swim right under our boat as we were heading out. Impressive to say the least.
 
Living in the South Bay we can't get to the ocean THAT easily, but we still make regular trips. Last time we were are Mavericks beach we got a treat and saw whales spouting. Seeing the marine life in the tidepools was also amazing. I have to say, I have NEVER been sorry we moved so close to the ocean. Will NEVER get tired of it.
