I want a new skimmer

So, I have always known my skimmer was a little undersized for my tank, and this is even more true now that I am growing so many SPS.

So I am looking for ideas, reveiws, etc on a good skimmer for my system.

I have a 120 gallon tank with a 55 gallon sump. Tank is mainly an SPS tank.

I am willing to buy used or even money and trade for a good one.

    Things I could trade:
Large Orange Crush Acan colony at least 21 heads visable in current location.

Med rainbow acan colony (AE) with at least 14 heads visable in current location.

Current skimmer- Aquaeuro USA RS-135 rated for 135 gallons.

FTR I love the skimmer I have now, and it has always worked great in pulling out tons of crap (still does) but like I said, this would be better for a smaller tank.

Did you seen Daniel's RC WTS thread (http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1799021)? He's selling his AquaEuro 265.

Still Mark? If that H&S could fit in a tiny sump compartment (I know... I have a large tank my my sump compartments are so small) I'd be all over it... (I don't do externals :D)

I was looking into atb cone skimmer or swc 180 cone. The swc 180 looks to be a pretty good skimmer with a nice price tag. The atb also a really good one but more than double the price.

Yep, Its already had a vinegar bath and is just waiting for me to put it on my shallow system. But that also seems like a lot of work these days so it might just be easier to sell it :)

If your looking at those, check out the Warner Marine K2. It's a kick ass skimmer and unlike the above, built in the USA. Not to mention WR is a Cali based business so if you buy in CA, the money will stay in CA.

That Warner Marine K-2 seems to be a bad ass skimmer!

Its a nice skimmer for tanks that are around 120 gallons. I asked Jon about one for my 180 and he said that is tould not handle a 180.

Sound like it will be perfect for a 100 gallon then. Mark, I'm guessing it could handle a 120 heavily stocked tank?

Isn't having a heavily stocked tank the only way to keep a tank :D
