ID Coral Please "Long Polyp Monti"?

    So I got this coral from the LFS about a month ago. So far it has been doing well and is starting to encrust. I was told that this is called a long polyp monti and it seems that AquaSD sells, or used to sell, a very similar coral under the name Long Polyps Joker Monti. However it seems that other people who bought that coral also questioned if it was a true monti. The polyps almost resemble a goniopora.

    Alveopora or most likely an Astropora sp. would be my guess.

    Thanks Eric, I think it is an Astreopora, google images look the closest to me.

    Haha nope, definitely not a monti. Still like its growth nonetheless.
