    Is this a feather duster or barnacle? Should I try to cut it out or cover it with superglue?

    I may be wrong, but sometimes on my sps, it'll grow a weird looking cluster of polyp that looks longer than the rest, and that's where a new branch grows out. Is that what it is?

    Looks like a small spionid worm encrusted over by the coral. Considered reef safe. You could get rid of it without losing anything.
