    Yep
I have a copperband in quarantine who is only eating off of the rocks. Looking for rocks covered in either feather dusters or aptasia.
    Thanks!!!

    Yeah
I put a rock with a piece of aptasia on it in the qt.
Not even five minutes and she ate it!!

Yes. It's one of their natural foods. Problem is many people buy them and then they starve once all the aptasia are gone.

I picked up one last week at AC that was eating Mysis. They had two that would eat out of the 6 or 7 in stock.

I didn’t buy mine with the intention of it eating my aptasia.
It is of my favorite fish and the tank has been established long enough (1yr) to where im confident enough to try one. He is still picking at the rocks in qt which is a good sign.

Dang.. I wish you got the fish earlier, I had a big rock full of that aptasia, I had to throw it out and sun baked it.

For a cbb that is picking on rocks, you can try spreading some masstick on a rock and see if it will pick it off. Didn't work for me, but seemed to make sense as opposed to turning it into a planktivore.

Didn’t work for me either. The tangs picked it clean long before the cbb could get to it.

Hmm, how large is that one? I have one that is a planktivore that loves PE mysis and anything decent size and floating in the water column. Wanted to see if it'll eat aips, but it's not even slightly interested in them at all.

If your looking for a bunch of Aiptasia, try California Reef Company. He had some when we went there on the LFS tour.

All LFS will have an adequate supply of Aptaisia in their tanks. Yet to see one that doesn't.

I gave this a shot and she loves it! She is also eating bloodworms and is showing interest in LRS RF which is promising.

That's a relief. Sounds like you have a winner.
