Lighting Advice re: PAR 38 Optics

So starting on my new project.

I plan on lighting a 7g Minibow with a PAR 38 12K 80 deg. optics. Should I change to a 40, 60, or just keep it as is?

How high do you plan on keeping the light off the tank? I would only go 80 degree if you plan on putting the light right about the tank.

The bulb will be suspended on the low side

I'd go 2x 60* 20k. 1 bulb will fill out most of your tank but you'll still have some fall off. There's a pic in my tank thread somewhere on here

Second thought - If 1 bulb is a must.. Still stick to 60* 80* is kinda worthless IMO...It'd have to be too close and get in the way
