Merulina

I think this is my first DBTC chain! It's my first SPS chain for sure.

It's a fluorescent green Merulina. Here's the mother colony:

I have just one frag so far. I'd like to drop it off at Saturday's meeting if possible. This is the frag:

Merulina is neat!

I used to have one. It was a piece that someone put into a swap because it wasn't doing well, heh.

I couldn't rescue it though

That thing is weird and cool. I think it is the first time I have seen this type of coral in DBTC.

Nice piece, does it send out sweepers? I had one like that, it would send out 2-3" sweepers of doom.

I haven't seen sweepers, but it may be doing it at night and I just haven't noticed yet. The nearby mushrooms seem okay, though.

Yep, sweepers at night. Don't recall them nuking anything though.
